Coming Up! eLearning07 on jokaydia!

by jokaydia

We’ve been busily getting ready for the upcoming NSW LearnScope eLearning07 Conference to be held on the 1 and 2 November (that’s this week!). The event will be held across three spaces - the Island of jokaydia in Second Life, Adobe Connect and physically at the Sydney at the University of New South Wales.

Our virtual participants will be able to participate in some of the live events being held during the two days and our live participants will be able to interact with our virtual visitors…. look out for some interesting conversations!

The highlight of eLearning07 will be the Connected Keynote Panel which is being hosted by Barbara Dieu aka Bee Kerouac live in Second Life from her home in Brazil via a special outdoor kitchen and dining area I’ve constructed for the event. Bee’s session will also be broadcast in Adobe Connect.

There will be a range of opportunities to take part in including:

It’s been lots of fun creating a space for our team members and international colleagues to come to meet and interact and I hope many of you will take advantage of it! If you are new to Second Life, there are useful Getting Started resources available on the SLeducation wiki. You can setup a free, basic account to participate if you don’t have an avatar yet.

Seeya at the conference!
