Continuing with our weekly roundup of events worth checking out in Second Life, here’s what’s coming up this week! Dont forget, I’m listing these events based on Australian Eastern Standard Time (because that’s where I am!)… but SL Time and ‘Check Your Local Time’ links are also listed in each entry.

Dont forget to go and check out the SLEDevents Calendar for info on other events happening this week!

Wed 23 April 2008, 11:00am AEST – ISTE Speaker Series featuring our very own Konrad Glogowski aka Konrad March!

Come and support one of our very own jokaydia Residents over at ISTE’s Speaker Series this week! Konrad will be discussing some of the key findings of his recently completed doctoral dissertation on classroom blogging communities. Specifically, he will discuss the impact of blogging communities on the role of the teacher and the implications of this impact for teacher professional development. Konrad will also discuss The Virtual Classroom Project. It would be great to see lots of jokaydians there to support him!

Thurs 24 April 2008, 11:00am AEST – SL Shakespeare company’s Production of Hamlet – Act 3, Scene 2, a.k.a., The Mousetrap.

I posted on this event earlier, as I thought it would be of special interest to some of our residents. Dont forget to go and check out the performance!
