As we continue to develop projects on the Islands of jokaydia, the need for a community space where people can publish and share content has become more urgent. There is so much great stuff coming out of projects being undertaken by jokaydia Residents and their communities, and it seems a great shame not to be capturing and sharing what you’re all up to. So…. I’ve created the new jokaydia Community Wikispace.
This wiki is completely open, and all visitors and residents are welcome to contribute to it. You’ll see I’ve kicked things off by setting up some pages and information – but I’m really looking forward to seeing what the community comes up with together.. so get your wiki on and start sharing! ;)
One of the first things we’ll be using the Wiki for will be documenting and tracking the development of the EduSquare space on the Islands of jokaydia. I encourage everyone to visit the space and contribute your ideas on the wiki here.
Jo Kay aka jokay Wollongong is a freelance digital designer and facilitator working in virtual worlds and educational technology. She helps educators and organisations to use new and innovative technologies for learning. Jo is the owner and facilitator of the Islands of jokaydia Project – a space for a vibrant community of educators to explore the use of virtual worlds in education.
