One of our wonderful jokaydia residents – marlonj Myers is holding some special events in Second Life this week! Titled ‘Introduccion a los Mundos Virtuales’ or ‘Introduction to Virtual Worlds’, marlonj will be holding the session in two parts – the first at the Universidad Autónoma de Manizales where he is teaching, and the second inworld.
marlonj will be covering a range of topics including the concept of the metaverse, history, examples, Second Life, and virtual worlds education, as well as giving his students and colleagues a great opportunity to visit Second Life and the Islands of jokaydia and explore some of the work marlonj has been doing.
